Amit began his real estate career in 2006 in Central Kansas, starting in the hospitality sector with his father. By 2010, he successfully expanded into the multi-family sector, accumulating a portfolio of over 800 units. As a leader at American Capital Venture Group, Amit leverages his deep market expertise across Kansas City Metro, Central Kansas, and Des Moines, IA, where he oversees underwriting and asset management. Beyond investing, Amit is a licensed general contractor, ensuring a hands-on approach to property development and maintenance. He further bolsters his risk management capabilities by owning a successful property and casualty insurance agency. Amit’s diverse skills, strategic vision, and dedication make him a respected figure who consistently ensures client and partner satisfaction.
Carla Cordoves
Vice President of Strategy
Carla Cordoves, a Managing Member of Gold Moon Capital, has over a decade of real estate and stakeholder management experience, beginning her investment journey at age 23. She has successfully managed both long and short-term rentals and owns a portfolio of 96 units. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, her international background provides a unique perspective on enhancing property value in a multicultural world. Carla leverages her extensive technology background to optimize investor relations and asset management strategies, a focus that strongly resonates with investors. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing pickleball, attending sports events, and traveling.
Marcos Barbosa

Marcos A. Barbosa is a litigation attorney who moved to the U.S. from Lisbon, Portugal, in 1992. He credits his foreign background with significantly amplifying and diversifying his perspective, which he states is "critical to the profession of law." A graduate of The University of Kansas School of Law (2004), Marcos was admitted to practice law the same year and represents clients in the Kansas City area. His excellence was formally recognized by Super Lawyers, who awarded him the distinction of top-rated practicing attorney for 2016–2018.
